about

A charming, upbeat tale of revenge and just desserts delightfully dispensed by lovely (but angry) trans ladies. And an answer to the question, "what happens when Jews from Upstate New York write bluegrass music?" Catchy, folky, topical, and fun.

lyrics

The tall girl posse came to town
Lookin’ for trouble and trouble they found
Rode up on a scooter six foot high
Somebody’s gonna pay by and by

She didn’t know her husband was a shitbag
Until he up and left her high and dry
But when her friends heard that she’d been weepin’
They didn’t need to ask the reason why

And he never saw it coming
Upon his little head
The shame and the embarrassment
He’d rather just be dead

And so they dealt some justice
A lesson it was told
A story for the folks to sing
About a tale of old

The tall girl posse came to town...

She thought nobody knew her biggest secret
The thing she tried so desperately to hide
But when her boss got wind of her full story
He told that she’d need to take a ride

And he never saw it comin’
Upon his little head
The shame and the embarrassment
He’d rather just be dead

And so they dealt some justice...

The tall girl posse came to town…

Her picture was so cute she had ‘em callin’
The boys would come to court most every day
But when they found the treasure she had buried
They’d up and weakly slither on away

And they never saw it comin'
Those slimy little men
They’d surely never treat a lady
This a-way again

And so they dealt some justice...

The tall girl posse came to town...

They came with hats resplendent in their glory
They claimed their turf and sang a fighting song
But taller girls weren’t mentioned in their story
A tale divorced from thoughts of right and wrong

And they never saw it comin’
Their noses held up high
They picked the wrong path
Climbing up the hill on which to die

And so they dealt some justice...

The tall girl posse came to town…
The tall girl posse came to town...
